Sample passage
The old bakery on Mill Lane opened at six every morning. Mrs Patel dusted flour across her hands and slid the trays into the oven, humming a tune she'd learned from her grandmother. The smell drifted out of the door and through the whole street, so nobody in the village needed an alarm clock.
